4. Fees & Charges
4.1. The Salary Advance Service Fee (a percentage-based fee on the principal amount) and other associated fees will be clearly disclosed in the App and Key Facts Statement before the user confirms an Advance request. By accepting an Advance, the user agrees to pay all disclosed fees, including late penalties or returned payment fees, which will be automatically added to the total repayment amount. Service fees are deducted upfront from the requested Advance amount, while other fees are deducted from the WPS Provider account on the scheduled repayment date.
4.2. You may repay the outstanding Advance and fees in full at any time before the scheduled repayment date without incurring additional charges or penalties.
4.3. Alterna ensures all fees and charges comply with Applicable UAE laws and regulations, including Central Bank guidelines on consumer protection and fair lending. Alterna will not charge hidden, undisclosed, or unlawful fees. All fee changes will be communicated to the user at least 30 days in advance and will only apply to Advances requested after the effective date of such changes. Fees and penalties will not be compounded or capitalized, and no interest will be charged on unpaid fees or penalties.
4.4. The total fees and penalties (including service, processing, and late penalties) charged on any single Advance shall not exceed 30% of the original principal amount, in accordance with UAE consumer protection standards.

5. Repayment Terms
5.1. By accepting each salary Advance, you agree to repay the full principal amount plus all applicable fees and charges as disclosed. Repayment is due in a single lump sum on the scheduled repayment date, which is the date your next salary is credited to your KamelPay account, unless otherwise specified in the App.
5.2. Repayment will be made automatically by direct transfer from your KamelPay account. You authorize KamelPay to deduct the total repayment amount (principal plus all fees and charges) from your WPS account as soon as your salary is credited.
5.3. If the salary credited is less than the total repayment amount, KamelPay may deduct the available balance and attempt to collect the remaining amount as soon as additional funds are available.
5.4. You may make an early or additional repayment at any time before the scheduled repayment date by:
- (a) using any in-App payment feature, if available, or
- (b) transferring funds directly to the KamelPay bank account as specified in the App.
No additional fees or penalties will apply for early or manual repayment.
5.5. If the automatic payment debit fails due to insufficient funds or any other reason not attributable to Alterna or KamelPay, you will be notified immediately through the App and SMS. You are required to ensure sufficient funds are available in your KamelPay account on the scheduled repayment date.

5.7. If you accidentally overpay, Alterna will refund the excess amount to your WPS account or another nominated account within 7 business days of confirmation. No interest will be paid on overpaid amounts.

Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the waiving party, and a waiver on one occasion does not constitute a waiver on any other occasion or for any other provision. Nothing in this clause or Agreement shall be construed as a waiver of any rights or remedies that cannot be waived under Applicable UAE law.
17.8. The provisions in the Agreement are cumulative and do not exclude any rights, remedies, powers, or privileges provided by law.

19. Language of the Agreement
The Terms and Conditions are available in both English and Arabic. In the event of any inconsistency or dispute regarding interpretation, the English version shall prevail unless otherwise required by UAE law.
